1/22/24 Ryan Kofman + Cancer Patients - Raising Money for Ellie Fund



A 15-year music industry veteran, Ryan Kofman is currently Director, Creative Music for FOX Entertainment. In this role, he is responsible for curating and resourcing musical selections across the company's growing portfolio of businesses with a focus on supporting marketing campaigns and on-air promotions for all FOX broadcast network content. In addition, Kofman leads development and implementation of the company's operational policies, streamlining music procurement and rights management processes among music rightsholders, record labels and publishers.

Prior to joining FOX Entertainment, Kofman served as Vice President, Sync and Creative Licensing at Seeker Music, where he procured placements with music supervisors industry-wide from Netflix to FOX Entertainment, as well as high-profile brands such as Victoria's Secret and Nike. Previously, he was Senior Director of Sync at BMG, working with a broad range of television and advertising music supervisors on projects for artists including Run the Jewels, Lauv and Aerosmith.

Kofman continues to support the next generation of music industry leaders and independent artists, having taught Music Supervision at both UCLA Extension and the Los Angeles College of Music. 


THE ISSUE:

This month Ryan Kofman has asked musicians to make donations to Ellie Fund, a charity dedicated to providing support services to breast cancer patients and their families. With your donation, they can help alleviate the financial burden of medical expenses, transportation, childcare, and groceries, ensuring that patients can focus on their recovery. We'll be supporting a fundraiser started by, Mamie Coleman, the the head of music at FOX Entertainment.
